In 2015, we were appointed as creative architect to deliver NatWest’s first Super Flagship concept at the high-profile Canary Wharf Crossrail building designed by Norman Foster. The brief for this Super Flagship project was to create a number of special features within the branch to celebrate London’s vibrant and diverse culture, architecture and art.

Canary Wharf Crossrail opened its doors on the 1st May, after an intensive concept design and fit-out period. Embracing the city’s unique culture, our response featured the what we believe to be world’s first projection mapping installation in a bank, elegant laser-cut wayfinding screens and innovative digital installations. Following the huge success of this first Super Flagship, Four-by-Two have created new concepts for Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle.

OUR RESPONSE

Selected by The Royal Bank of Scotland as creative designers and architects, we have completed numerous specialist consultancy projects, ranging from a Future Bank strategy to creating innovative retail concepts; blending digital and physical experiential environments.

A project is only as good as the client’s ambition and imagination, and no client illustrates this more strongly than RBS Design. With a breadth of experience, skills and expertise, Four-by-Two have been fortunate enough to work on some of the world’s most innovative retail banking projects, such as the wall projection mapping at Canary Wharf and our forthcoming retail banking concept which looks set to change the face of high street banking.
