Filled with wonder, built with exceptional design

Discover the magic of Edinburgh Gin’s state-of-the-art Distillery and Brand Home, which captivates visitors in the heart of Scotland’s enchanting capital. This impressive facility embodies the brand’s unwavering commitment to craftsmanship and excellence. Ian MacLeod Distillers appointed Contagious to create the brand experience strategy, brand home, distillery guest experience and film production for Edinburgh Gin. Four-by-Two was commissioned by Sharkey to assist their design managers in the technical design development and implementation of the interior design and visitor experience, created by Contagious.

Through successful collaboration with the main contractor, Sharkey, architects, structural and services engineers, specialist manufacturers and suppliers, Four-by-Two selected materials and finishes appropriate to the design and budget, developed architectural and interior design details, and spatial reconfigurations to suit the construction site constraints, alongside mechanical and electrical services design integration and coordination.

A testament to collaborative teamwork, the project demonstrates Four-by-Two’s ability to manage, coordinate and deliver exceptional design, whilst maintaining the integrity of the original concept to deliver this world-class destination.
