We were tasked with creating a cutting-edge luxury shoe department in Edinburgh, in line with Harvey Nichols high-end brand credentials. The space needed to be flexible, allowing for for a range of Visual Merchandising requirements and ebb and flow of seasonal changes.

Taking into consideration Harvey Nichols well-established brand values and existing store environment, we created a complementary palette of materials that formed a neutral yet effective backdrop to their luxury product lines. We responded to the challenging narrow site by creating innovative angular walls that reach out and welcome customers into the shoe department. By creating multiple facets along the slatted angular walls, this enabled the perimeter walls to be broken down into bays, allowing the VM team to merchandise into different stories. Solid shards of marble fit the interval of wall panels, offering solidity and introducing natural materials to the regimented slatted wall.
